Each basket is a true original. Made of porcupine quills, birch bark and sweetgrass, these baskets are based on a centuries-old tradition of decorating clothing with quillwork. Today, only a handful of porcupine quill workers carry on the tradition of this intricate art form – they are becoming very hard to find. Choose from among the baskets shown below, but be aware that our selection continually changes. We remove baskets as they are sold, and add new ones as they come in.
