Pipe Soapstone – Mohawk Turtle 05131

Crafted by Iroquois artist Standing by the Bridge, this working soapstone pipe features the turtle. The turtle is traditionally an important symbol – the Earth was repopulated on the back of a turtle after the Great Flood according to Native tradition. The pipe measures 6.5″ (16 cm) long, and features feathers and beads. Stone and bead colour may vary.
