Smudge Feather by Neesh Abinoogi

Smudge feathers are used while burning sage, cedar or sweetgrass during ceremonies and cleansing. The smoke is gently fanned, using the feather, to purify mind, spirit and soul. Used in the home, it purifies and removes negative energy and brings good, positive energy. This one features a turkey feather on a willow handle, and is decorated with glass beads in the four traditional colours of the medicine wheel. Measures approximately 14″/35 cm long – crafted by Anishnabe artisan Neesh Abinoogi.
