Corn Husk Spirit – Shaman’s Medicine Water

Thomas Maracle of the Tyendinaga First Nation creates these striking multi-media sculptures. This one is titled ” Shaman’s Medicine Water” and features a corn husk doll, with quiver, medicine bundle and stone carved face. The vase, strung with deerskin lace measures 6″ high and 6″ in diameter (15 cm x 15 cm).
