Corn Husk Spirit – Into the Wind by T. Maracle

Thomas Maracle of the Tyendinaga First Nation creates these striking multi-media sculptures. This one is titled “Into the Wind” and features a windswept corn husk doll with an eagle carved of deer antler. Thomas is a noted artist, and these contemporary pieces draw upon his vision as well as culture and tradition. Measures 6″/15 cm high.
