Inuit Carving by C. Opiak – Drum Dance Bear

Carved in a primitive style typical of the community of Gjoa Haven, this carving features a bear in the form of drum dancer. By Charlie Opiak, the piece measures 9″/23 cm tall. The drum, beater and eyes are carved of caribou antler.
