In Inuit tradition,polar bears are symbols of resilience, patience and determination. This beautiful prowling bear was carved of soapstone by Manasie Ikaljukjuak of Iqaluit. It measures 7.5″ long, 3.75″ high and 5″ wide (19 cm x 9.5 cm x 12.5 cm).
