Earrings – Porcupine Quilled with Sweetgrass & Beads; Red and Purple Flower

These earrings were crafted by Mary Pheasant of the Wiikwemkoong First Nation on Manitoulin Island. She used porcupine quills to create the red and purple flower on birchbark, and finished them with white and purple beads and sweetgrass. They measure 3″ x 2.5″ (7.5 cm x 6.25 cm) plus beaded loop below.
