Hand Painted Earrings on Rawhide – Assorted Bears

Cayuga/Seneca artisan Bruno Henry creates these striking earrings, hand painting on rawhide. He says, “For thousands of years, Native Peoples of this continent have been hunting animals off this land. Parts of these animals have been utilized by the Native Peoples for their daily uses, and nothing was wasted. Take pride in what you are wearing, and realize how important these animals are to the Native Peoples.” The round earrings measure 1″ in diameter (2.5 cm) and the long measure 3″ x 3/4″ (7.5 x 2 cm).
