Inuit Woven Basket – BM Sitting Bird

Basket weaving is a centuries old tradition in the Arctic. Contemporary artists often incorporate geometric designs in the weave, and sculpture on the lid. Betsy Meeko of Sanikiluaq created this basket featuring a bird on top. Measures 7″/17.5 cm in diameter and 7″/17.5 cm total height.
