Ojibway Birch Bark Baskets – Curve Lake

These baskets were crafted at Curve Lake, Ontario, by an Ojibway artisan. Made in a traditional style, they are crafted of birch bark, spruce root strips (to lash the pieces together) and a cedar strip at top to provide strength. These are sturdy enough to use! The measure 7″ x 6″ x 3″ (19 cm x 15 cm x 7.5 cm) and are available with white birch bark or light brown.
