Split Ash Basket – IM 3 Purple and Red

The Georgian Bay region of Ontario was once well-known for the production of split ash baskets. Seldom seen anymore, this one was crafted by Irene Makedebin of the Sagomok First Nation and is a beautiful example of the age-old tradition. The basket measures 6″ in diameter and 7″ high (15 cm x 18 cm).
