Salish Cedar Box – Eagle

These beautiful bentwood boxes are crafted of cedar by Salish artists on Canada’s west coast. Traditionally, they were used to carry one’s most prized possessions. This one features the image of the Eagle, the ‘Leader’. Eagles are spiritual guides, exhibiting intelligence. They represent power, prestige and symbolize loyalty. The square box measures 5″ x 4″ (13 cm x 9.5 cm).
