Dene Lidded Baskets – by Rose Nande Assorted

These charming baskets were crafted by Rose Nande in Fort Laird, Northwest Territories. Traditional baskets from the region were used for storing food and supplies. These are durable enough to use, but can also be displayed as an original work of art. Crafted of birchbark, willow strips, spruce root strips, moosehide ties and porcupine quills, they measure 2.5″ x 2.5″ (7 cm x 7 cm).
