These medicine bags are crafted on Manitoulin Island by Ojibway artisan M. Pheasant. She places a deerskin medicine bag in the turtle shell and decorates with beads and fringes. The turtle shell measures approximately 6″ x 4.5″ (15 cm x 11 cm).
