Deer Toe Dance Garters – Cayuga

These are the traditional ‘bells’ of dancers in ceremonies across North America. Some Nations accept metal bells. but only deer toe bells (on deerskin) are accepted in the four Longhouses of the Six Nations Reserve in Onatrio.
