ITEM: Hand Painted Two Sided Drums by Nica – Assorted Designs
$149.98
In indigenous cultures, drums are used in traditional ceremonies as well as for social dancing. Odawa, Ojibwa and Pottawatomi people call the drums ‘midegwakikoon’, referring to the medicine. The drum’s rhythm reminds us of our beating heart. The sound clears the mind and we let go of our rational self. Drumstick up – the heart flutters. Drumstick down – the mind awakens. These are handpainted, and measure 6.5″/16.5 cm in diameter. Drumstick is included.
