Mohawk Cornhusk Dolly – 02-18050

Crafted of corn husk, leather and yarn, this small cornhusk doll can be hung from a rear view mirror or crib. It is said that corn has a spirit that loses its home after the final harvest. Using the husks to create dolls and other items invites that spirit into the home over the winter, to be returned to the earth in the spring for the next crop. This dolly, crafted in Ontario by Mohawk artisans measures 4.5″/11.5 cm high.
